Yep, if you own a X-Box 360 its bound to happen eventually. Im playing Call of Duty 4 (one of the greatest shooters ever) and blamo it freezes. I reboot the machine...wait a few minutes and were good to go. Call of Duty starts up and I begin playing again...blamo it freezes again. So this time Im like shit, ok maybe the game is scratched or dirty. I turn the console off, take out my disc which rarely even leaves my console. I look at it...no visible scratches no dust. I wipe it off anyways and Im like shit ok reboot time.I reboot and were backup...blamo doesnt even get to the xbox logo screen and I see the fucking red rings of death. NO!!!!! I turn it off, and reboot again just thinking maybe it needs to just cool down for a few mins...nope its fucking dead. So I thought well I'll take a picture and blog the death of my box.
Luckily when I bought my Xbox at Best Buy I bought a service plan with it also for an extra $50 which covered it for 2 years...what do you know I had about 4 months left on it. In a sense I lucked out totally and just went to Best Buy returned it and swapped it out and got a new one. Simple as that. Im already back up and gaming, I still play lots of COD 4, but Im waiting for Mercenaries 2 in the mail from my Gamefly account.
