Well here we are again. I havent written in a while and nothing really worth writing about. Work is work...nothing new there. I think of that commercial where the song goes " I need a dollar dollar, a dollar is what I need" and they show the guy just going thru the motions of work. Thats how I feel...I go to work do my job but dont really pay attention to whats going on its just apart of my day. I come home and try and forget it all.
Oh heres some news I forgot about, well I just recently had my birthday and my brother came to visit. We ended up going to Discovery Cove and Busch Gardens. Ive been to Busch Gardens, but Discovery Cove now that was something memorable. To swim in the artificial reef with all the giant sting rays and when I say giant I mean giant. Ive seen giant manta rays, but these werent mantas they were sting rays or skates to be more proper. Fucking giant flying carpets is what they looked like under the water. A good time was had and to end the night we ended up at the phenomenal restuarant of Texas De Brazil. Wow...talk about awesome. You get an all you can eat salad bar with all kinds of exotic food and then the real eating starts when you flip your little coin over and the "gouchos" come by with giant spears of meat. They bring meat of all kinds, prepared in all sorts of spices and cooked various ways. It was awesome, nuff said.
Hmm...lets see what else...I recently started reading this book called Stiff - The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers by author Mary Roach. Its pretty interesing, basically just what cadavers go thru when there on the slab from preperation or being shipped to various medical schools/labs for testing and practicing of medical procedures. Really good reading if your interested, the first chapter is all about the head and basically the lady at the school whose job it is to decapitate cadavers and get them prepped for medical students. Today while reading I reference a name from the book by the way of Karen Greenlee. Apparently shes probably the most well known modern day necrophile. You can read a very interesting interview with her here. http://www.nokilli.com/sacto/karen-greenlee.htm
Ok thats it for now, hopefully i'll get some photos going and i'll update this blog more often as I try but rarely get around to it.
